When a Government need arises, ICWERX utilizes the information you provide during market research to help our Government partners identify the top candidates that align with the mission area priority.

By joining the ICWERX ecosystem, you will be among the first to know about new funding opportunities with the potential to collaborate with the Intelligence Community and other Government organizations when public announcements are released.

With support from the Intelligence Community, ICWERX collaborates with academic institutions and other educational organizations to engage with students at the primary, secondary, and university levels in the disciplines of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM). ICWERX supports various in-person and virtual STEAM programs to foster enthusiasm in our Nation’s future innovation leaders.

The ICWERX ecosystem consists of Subject Matter Experts from Government, Academia, Industry, and National & Federal Labs interested in collaborating on innovative solutions to the needs and desires of top priority for the Intelligence Community. There are no fees to join the ecosystem or participate in events.

Under Title 15 U.S. Code § 3715 authority, a non-profit organization may enter into a non-Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) based agreement with a Government Partner, serving as a partnership intermediary to accelerate novel solutions, processes, and/or ideas for End User desirements. As the Intelligence Community’s intermediary, ICWERX performs services at the behest of the Intelligence Community to bolster successful innovation and collaboration between Industry, Academia, and National & Federal Labs.

DEFENSEWERX was established in 2012 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit and is headquartered in Niceville, Florida. The DEFENSEWERX mission is to cultivate a vibrant ecosystem by shaping successful collisions to innovate and commercialize technologies for national security objectives. ICWERX is an innovation hub, established in 2021, under a Partnership Intermediary Agreement (PIA) between DEFENSEWERX, a 501(c)(3), and the Intelligence Community. ICWERX will address Intelligence Community needs and provide a platform for cooperative teaming and innovation. In collaboration with our Government Partner, ICWERX will work with Academia, Industry, and National & Federal Labs to discover, engage, and accelerate novel solutions in support of the Intelligence Community’s mission areas.
